Darrell van Ligten has more than fifteen years of experience in marketing, strategic planning, business development, and general management at category-leading multi-unit restaurant and retail businesses.

Prior to his association with Catalytic Capital, Darrell was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operation Services for American Golf Corporation, where he was responsible for marketing, sales, merchandising, operation services, purchasing, and food and beverage for the world's largest golf course management company. Darrell implemented key strategies across more than 200 public golf courses and private country clubs, generating a 35% internal rate-of-return for investors in less than two years.

Prior to joining American Golf, Darrell was General Manager of Toys "R" Us Toybox, where he led the team that created the branded "shop-in-shop" for Toys "R" Us; in less than three years under his leadership, Toybox secured distribution in 2,300 grocery and drug stores. Previously, Darrell led teams in brand management, concept development, mergers and acquisitions, and systems development at a variety of consumer-branded companies including Yum Brands, Triarc Restaurant Group, and Pepsico.

Darrell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from the Moore School of Electrical Engineering.
